CLK 350 is coming!
The CLK 320 will be replaced by CLK 350 early next year (2003).
Starting from the MLs mercedes is beginning to phase out its 3.2 litres engine replacing it with a 180KW 3.7 engine scheduled for early 2003.
The S-Class, The SL & the ML-Class have already use the 350 3.7 engine. Next on the line will be CLK-Class, C-Class and E-Class.(check out the german website)

no offense guys, but boy i feel sorry for those who ordered the new w209 CLK320.
sorry guys.
if you can, just cancel the order and wait a few more months. Better engine, faster car. 2003 w209 clk320 is slower than the w208 clk320.
I bought my ml in early 1999 and a few months later they came out with the 2000 ML that had the Navigation/command screen built in...it really pissed the heck out of me.

Well, if you guys consider, the CLK350 will only have 238hp. That's not a magnificent gain so it's not too bad. 320 engine can easily obtain 238 hp with a chip, filter, exhaust and some other minor mods.

this is similar to that incident with the 3 series a while ago. where the 323 and 328 were the ones to come out first and then shortly after they changed it complete to 320 325 and 330, and after that they changed the model for all sedan....must feel like a ***** eh!
