i just find out that my dream rims cost $1250 a rim
its the brabus mono VI multi-piece....
i want to get th 19 inch 2-piece one....but is it that expensive?
it means the total of 4 will be 1250 * 4 = 5000 ?
i got the price from the brabus cataloque....
is it correct?i mean does it sel lfor 5k?
damn...i cant believe it....

It sounds about right, plus hi-end tires to match these rims
tires of 19" are costy, too.
W/19" rims+tires to dressup an "aggressive look" car,
$6800 ......
BTW,they're heavy enough to kill the launch performance
especially those 2 pcs rims, damn heavy !!!
they kill 0.2~0.3" time to 60 mph.

guess i 'll have to take carlsson 1/16/.....its supposed to be ultra light right?

Carlsson ultralight 1/16 19' is the lightest one I know.it supports 8.5/9.0/9.5/10 J for wider tires.
BBS offers similiar light rims,too.
Two words "not cheap" cuz they're top-end rims.
Be cautious to wear 19", they're sensitive to the quality of roads
Make sure your daily route are running on quality roads.
Then 19' rims on CLK are head tuner.

i think the 1/16s are $1250 a piece, and I too would caution you about buying 19s. Chances are, you're going to wreck them driving in the city - the roads in SF are horrible.

Worst come worst - I can afford to discard them after a while.. instead of putting in $5000 for Brabus - somehow I hate the "B" logo on a Benz..
I checked with lowering of the car with the dealer yeaterday and they recommended NOT TO...
#1 - you have to throw warranty out of the door the moment you touch the suspension
#2 - 209 is new to the dealership itself - you don't want to mess around with it.

my friend has a 19" and he has had no problems so far...
as long as you are very careful....

if u change ur suspension then u wont get warranty for suspension whne its spoilt
if u change ur other thing then u wontget warranty for that other thing

you don't have to buy direct from brabus. Save yourself a grand and buy from a store like evosport or the wheel experts. In fact don't buy any thing from brabus, you can get a discount when bought from somewhere else.

i know about that....but since brabus sells it for about 5000
the the other place might sell it not much different than that i think
maybe 4000.....i think tas still quite expensive.....
my bro bought his AMG CL for only 1500 in contrast
i only want to spned about 3-4k on mods
