My CLK500...getting slower and slower
Ok, I think I solved part of the problem...
I popped the hood last night and decided to change my air filters (boredom).
When I was taking the airbox off, I noticed that one of the intake hoses, the one that connects the air scoop in the grill to the airbox, wasn't fully connected to the airbox and had a gap in it.
I switched filters, got everything nice and tight, and took it out for a run and it feels much much better

That would make a significant difference. An engine is simply an air pump and the more air the better, given the right tune. Why don't you put a k & n in there also!
