You can bring up a diagnostics menu by selecting the aux audio in the comand system then press the mute button together with 1 and 3 . dont worry no values can be changed in the menu just interesting to see i wonder what other hidden features we dont know about

can anybody tell how to get to the menu for US spec command....tried the above and it didn't work

 

It doesn't work on the CLK and C
Only on the E, SL, CLS and S

because they have a different NAV (not the same manufactuer)

Well, I had the US Alpine MCSII in my CLK 2005. To get into the Alpine testing menu press AUDIO (so you see AUX, CD etc), then first press and hold "OK" -the little joy stick-, then "7", then "MUTE" for a couple of seconds.

There is an even cooler menu appearing, debug mode, if you do the same again - don't remember from where, either when you are in the testing menu already, or when you are on the MAP screen, don't remember.

Please be careful not to screw up your system!
