I have an '03 with 123,000 miles. ALL of a sudden no sound comes from my speakers in any mode, sat, cd, or nav and it doesn't even read my cd changer, it just tells me there is no cd changer in there. Also, my right front headlight sometimes doesn't come on when i turn on the car. anyone know whats wrong?

Does your car have xenon?

I have xenon and I used to have the same problem. My right xenon sometimes ddidn't turn on. It turned out that they had to change the ignition and the problem was fixed...at least for a while. Around a month later, that same light had the same problem again. And I had been to the dealer countless times for the same problem and they weren't able to fix it everytime. The problem seemed to be fixed when I picked up my car from service, but after a few hours/days, I would have the same problem again.

Finally, I moved to California and the dealer there changed everything to new and the problem was finally gone.

240 bucks for a headlight?? For a new headlight, 3 tail lamps and a reset of the apmlifier 530 bucks!

Included in that is that the dealer adds a 10% charge for random stuff. So whatever the final amount is they add 10% shop charge for towels used etc... I told my service advisor that I wont pay it so he ttok it off. He said the owner is the one that added it and he personally thinks its retarded.

But anyways, as I sat in my car the stereo was making this horrible noise and it wasn't even on. So I might need a new amp, at Merc its $1,000. I might just go to best buy and get one installed.
