Garage Temporarily Empty
I had this problem at 35k miles and again now and the dealer told me the pads are NOT under warranty. I said I would normally understand, but why do my brakes squeal and not many other CLK's? It must be some sort of defect. He had no answer. I am changing my pads to a ceramic pad. I think it was Hawk Performance pads.
What are the numbers before each model vehicle? Is it like a TSB?

P-B-42.10/79 is the DTB number. The numbers before each model depicts the MB model number.
In accordance to the MBUSA bulletin while under 48 month/50,000 mile warranty as of 9/20/07 the brake pads are covered if you are complaining about brake squeal, providing of course the brake paste process does not resolve the squeal.
