Question about 2004 CLK500 Cab

I have a 2004 CLK500 convertible with the white interior. It seems as if the inside of the car gets dirty very quickly, particularly the back seats. It's almost as if they are coated in a fine grease (but more like black powder), perhaps from the convertible top/motor? Has anyone had this problem?

It's normal for every car which is why MB made the "ash" interior color darker for 2007s+ (dealership told me this)
