CLK vs SL??? HELP!!!
Hi Guys,
I've had a deposit on an SL500 for a month or so now, but had not seen one, except in magazines. Well, I went to my local dealership yesterday, and saw a Magma Red SL500, which was the color I was going to order. I have to admit, I wasn't all that excited about what I saw. Yes, it is a gorgeous car, but I dont like the black grilles, and the silver slats on the sides and hood of the car. I realize that most people love this car(SL), but Im considering a CLK now as well. I want a convertible with a smooth ride. Can anyone comment on the wind noise when the top is up and down? Can one get DVD nav on the CLK 320? Im considering a CLK320 with sports package or CLK430.

Allow me to drop in.
My CLK outperform the SL55AMG "a little" ,
but I wish I was sitting inside the SL55AMG, watch the clk walk away slowly, no big deal....SL500 ? about the price as CLK50K
I pickup CLK50K.
There're 4 seats for a CLK convertible, is that your interest ?

buddy from your list you seen to have quite a bit of cash? why go with 320 when you have porsche TT???????maybe a 55 to be at ur caliber?!?

Whaaaattt? Of course you should get the SL. BTW, magma red is the worst color for the SL so you shouldn't base your decision on that. Check out a silver or black one, even the new ice blue....the car is just stunning!!!!

Thanks for the input guys. I have gone back to my dealership a few times, and I must admit all of you are right. The SL is truely awesome. Going to order one next week!! Thanks!!!
