HID lights on all the time!

Hey....

Can the CLK somehow be rewired to not have the HID headlights on ALL the time? I like how with Audi/BMW's (for example) can choose the different settings they want and manually turn on their HID's.

I have a Canadian car btw. On some of the search topics...some people are saying that you can manually choose to only have it on at night time, but how do you do it?

Has anyone on this forum figured out how to do it?

Please let me know.

I think in Canada they are required by law to stay on and the computer will not allow you to turn them off.

Their is a option to change this with the steering wheel controls, using the screen in instrument cluster.
