Brabus spring
can anyone tell me what springs will give me this kind of drop(not too low; just nice) and the same comfortable ride ..
my friend told me if u want comfortable ride u should get springs from mercedes benz tuner like brabus, lorinser etc....is that true?
he also said that if i use eibach or h&r the ride will suffer...is he right?
thank you
the ride is still pretty soft. i had a 330ci, and that stock suspension is still firmer and rougher than the clk with the brabus suspension.
Think the Eibach offers the softest closest to stock ride (at least compared to H&R that is more sportier), whilst lowering it about one inch. But, Eibach is as far as i know not yet available for the 209.
Does anybody know when Eibach springs will be available
How much is the Brabus springs. From the comments, seems like Brabus also offers a comfortable ride, but they are proabably pricier than the Eibach's. Would go nice though with my Brabus rims (get them next week).

I am pretty sure Eibach springs are available for the W209. I have seen them on Tire Racks's website and on Eibach's own website (check the appliacation guide in the performance suspension section).

I seen the Tirerack, but i suspect its a typo and just a carryover from the 208 springs, not recognizing the model change in 2003. I should call them to confirm tough.
Thanks

you may want to check the wheel, tire, suspension, and brakes forum....there is a lot of info on suspension components there.
I also plan on lowering my clk...(that is...once it finally gets here), so I am interested in hearing other people's experiences to date.
So if you lower yours sometime soon, let us know how it turns out.
Remember there was a prvevious question in this board if it's possible to use C-class springs in CLK ..... i guess it is.
