Tension pully not turning

Can some one please help me. I have 1998 CLK 320. This weekend the serpentine belt broke off the engine. After stuggling with it i managed to drain the battery charge so i took it to auto zone and recharged the battery and purchased a new engine belt. I replaced the belt, now when i turn on the car i see BAS,ESP,Anti-Lock break system on my dash message board and under the hood my tension pulley is not turning. When i start up the engine it sounds like im burning rubber. Are all of these issues related or do i just need to buy a new tension pulley and battery? or do i just need to buy a the pulley dialer? please help

Yup, sounds like the bearings went up in the pulley. Replace that pulley and everything will be good. As far as the lights go, thats just because the battery died and the steering angle sensor needs to be re initialized. You just turn the steering wheel from one side all the way to the other and the lights will go out.

Thanks for the help advise. I did manage to get everything up and running. It was the tension pully that went out and stoped spining. The message board lights also shut off after resetting the them. I had to move the wheel lock into position then turn my steering wheel all the way to the left then all the way to the right and sure enough the indicator lights shut off. There was one more thing but after reading some of the forums i guess i have to call Mercedes dealer ship for this, and thats the radio code for my radio that went out, it now requires a code to activate it again. I would like to thank you very much for taking time to help me out in this matter....

Yea for the radio code the dealership can look it up by vin number if the radio hasnt been replaced. If it got replaced at anytime down the line, you will need to pull it out and get the serial number off it and then someone at the dealer can look it up that way.

Yea, I called a couple of dealer ships and they both want me to show up in person to get the code, they wont do it over the phone. I've never changed out the radio but at this point im just considering putting in a new radio that stores mp3's onto it's hard drive and has a large touch LCD. Once again MBtech1 thank you for all your help.
