BMW guy switching to Benz
I am looking to get a 2000 CLK 430 Coupe as my 2nd car (first one is M3)
I had a question about the warranty and stuff like that.. for BMW everything is covered (including maint. servicing, brakes, wipers etc ) for the first 4 years/50k
what is it with Benz? i tried to log onto thier website but its down for upgrades..
any info would be useful.

yeah, the bmw warranty is pretty decent. i was kind of suprised when they changed the brake pads and didn't charge me... 
not so w/ mb. wipers, brake pads are on you. oil changes (services) are covered for 4 years/50,000 miles.
but the way i drive, i get the services every 10k miles. so that's like 5 services. the bmw, the computer is usually about 13000 miles (btw, my bmw warranty is the older 3 year/36k miles...

are you looking for a used clk? the w208 forum deals w/ pre-2002 model clks.
