Does anyone know of any changes to the '09 CLK550 Cabriolet? I realize the coupe will be changing significantly, but the cabrio tends to lag by a year or two, so my assumption is that the body style will not change for '09. I'm mostly interested in interior or electronics changes (like COMMAND w/Bluetooth built-in, which they've apparently done for the CLS), etc.

I'm coming to the end of my lease on my '05 CLK500, and am trying to figure out if I want another one. I really like the car, but if I'm basically getting the exact same car (albeit with a stronger engine), I may want to try something else. If there are some improvements, even minor, then I'll probably get another CLK550.

I've sort of asked this question before, and got no responses - maybe I'm asking a dumb question???

I'm just trying to figure out if anyone knows if the 2009 CLK550 cabriolet will come with any changes at all - even something minor, like a new feature or option, would be worthwhile knowing about. One thing I'm most interested in is whether the '09 might have the newer COMMAND (like the '09 CLS550) and/or the newer steering wheel.

It's time to trade in my '05 CLK500 cabrio, and I really love the car, but am struggling with getting a new one that's essentially identical (I realize the engine is better/faster, but I'm a gadget/convenience guy). Would appreciate anyone's input - I've scoured the web for info and find all sorts of stuff about the new CLK coupe, but nothing on the Cabrio (and I realize the body style won't change for the '09 cabrio like it will for the coupe).

I was told by MB Customer Service in response to a question I had about Tel Aid in my 2008 CLK 350 that no change to the CLK is scheduled until 2010. I'm not sure how reliable the CS rep is so, take it for what it is.
