Wheel Advice - proper offset

I've seen a few staggered wheels on ebay that I have interest in. I'm looking at a couple of staggered AMG II style 19" wheels.

Question: will a 19x8.5/19x9.5 set with a front and rear offset 35mm work for my 04 CLK320, or should I look for 32mm front / 35mm rear setup?

Well, I have 18x8.5 F ET 33 and 18x10 R ET 29. It clears the breaks nicely.

qinixus, if you don't mind, where did you get your wheels and what type are they?

Are you running any spacers?

Are you running any spacers with your 35mm all around offset? How close is the rim to the inside wall in the back?

hey dynomite05, I just bought a 2006 CLK350, and I'm looking at a set of wheels for winter use with snow tires.

I think, from what I've gathered on other threads, they're from W220 and have an ET46 offset....

(actually, Frank W has just replied to me on that thread: "no")

um.. since we are on the topic of offset. will a set of 19's that came off a W203 fit on the clk? the seller does not know the offset, if the seller had the sport big brakes like the CLK500 then it should work?
