Nice pics Brad! The Kleemann kit looks great but its not a full bumper right? it looks like a half add on bumper or something of that sort. It looks fine in black but in silver or any lighter color its gonna show up and not look so smooth. Other than that i think kleemann is looking good.

I think it is just an add-on, 2 pieces.

The Carlsson SL is 100% a two pcs. insert.

1. lip under the bumber.
2. insert in the grill.

I'm lucky I didn't go to the show, because I probably would have wet myself at the Kleemann booth! That CLK is sweet!

It's the air intake in the middle of the bumber.

Tango :

Take a good look at the front pic. Tetza posted of the Carlsson
SL.
It's very easy to see that the lip is just an add on part under the OE bumber.
The grill insert is the same, cut a hole around the grill and put in the insert.

This design / solution was made by Carlsson when the car was brand new in Oct/Nov. 2001, and they needed a quick solution
to present the SL at the Essen Motor Show end of November.
I was told they would change later, it could be that the market have failed them, since they never changed.

Another day, it has been raining / storming / ice layer since the holidays started, so the S class is stored.
380 mm front brakes and M+S tires in 19" is not easy to find.

I will have my S 600 L bi-turbo some time in January, it will be completely KLEEMANAIZED in March, where the Sun starts to shine again, then I will post pics.
Who want's to waist time on that old "bucket" I drive at the moment. :p :p :p
