Can someone explain this carfax?
The info provided starts with the second owner. My question is, what happened to the car between 4/24/07 and 05/28/2008?

There were only 2 owners, the second owner sold it 0n 1/25/07. According to Carfax, the car was in dealer hands from 1/26/07 to the current date- that's a long time for a dealer to sit on a car. And why would a car titled in Illinois have to go to California for emissions inspection?
