alot of times cars sit on the lot for a long time. sometimes the dealer needs the space, or just realizes the car cant sell, and it is offered at a dealer auctions.

It looks like the car was sold to an owner from 7/23/2007 until now. The owner probably traded it in to the dealership that you're looking at.

There were only 2 owners, the second owner sold it 0n 1/25/07. According to Carfax, the car was in dealer hands from 1/26/07 to the current date- that's a long time for a dealer to sit on a car. And why would a car titled in Illinois have to go to California for emissions inspection?
