Welcome to the MBWorld.org . OK the first thing you can do...TAKE OFF THAT AMG BADGE...your car is not AMG but hey its still MERCEDES so dont worry. YES, you do have AMG Bumper but not an AMG car...again just want you to let you know that...I know its your car you can do whatever you want. Anyway, here are some basic mods you can do to your car: Rims, lower a bit, AMG trunk spoiler...I like the exterior color thou.

1. Drop your car by way of springs, HR or Eibach.
2. rims
3. Front lip (Eurotek, or carlsson)
4. Trunk Spoiler
5. Xenon Foglights its a (9006) bulb
6. Different air filters, (K&N or Green)
7. Exhaust, i recommend a electric cut-out. it's what i have, about 300 bucks and it sounds meaner than the AMG's and you can go back to stock sound by the flick of a switch.

I've heard of this. How does this work and do you get any performance gains? How does it sound?

One of my best friends has a lift in his garage so we threw the car up thre, we cut a 1 foot section of exhaust pipe out under the rear seat. the cutout came with a Y pipe. I welded it in in place of the pipe we took out. on the Y pipe there is a electric butterfly value bolted to the open Y output. it runs off 12v i also got the remote digital control unit. so when i want it to sound loud i just flip a switch in the cab and in about 4 seconds the butterfly valve opens and it is a straight pipe from the cats.
when it's open It is LOUD, i love it. closed it's a little louder than stock since i have the secondard cats removed.
