I think what Lorinser did to the 209 looks awesome...they made an ugly car look good....by changing almost all of the panels of the car...lol...IMHO

 

you gotta be joking... w209 being 'an ugly car' is one issue, but do you really think the Lorinser kit looks awesome? if you don't like the w209 design and wanna talk negatively, that's fine but at least be reasonable... come on now. do you really think it looks awesome? do you really?

 

This is so lame. If a person thinks the 209 looks ugly and but the Lorinser version awesome, i surely don't share his taste, and i'm glad i'm not driving the same car (i wonder what it could be).

With all of this hating going on, this sounds like a WRX board. I think Lorinser sells alot of kits in this country mainly because there are alot of gaudy (i.e. Music and Athletic Professionals) people that like flash. No matter how ugly the Lorinser kit is (which it is....that grill looks like an afterthough...after they messed up the rest of the car, they forgot a grill and threw that center piece in there), it is expensive, and flashy, thus its fans will buy it. Save the Brabus and Kleeman, the companies with the "go" in their tuning programs, to the enthusiasts. Lorinser is too much flash IMO. To each his own.

 

moving on from that strange looking Lorinser kit.... would anyone know how much that official DTM kit is running for . I'm thinking of placing one on either a 208 or 209 clk (either the 02 or 03 dtm kit). I'm guessing 'round 25k... any thoughts?
