2003 CLK500
Looking at a black/black, Pacific Northwest 2004 CLK320 with 34,300 miles: asking price is around $18,900...
To the previous posters on this thread: With all that is going on in the economy what do you think your cars are worth now, from a realistic standpoint?
Cheers!

1) I was offered $11000 for trade, when I was shopping for a newer model.
2) If I sold it out-right, I should be able to get at least $15,000
3) But, if a dealer were selling it on a lot, it would be going for $17,500+

If you're buying from a private seller, depending on the options, don't pay more than $17,000 Base Model. And if its from the dealer, no more than $19,500.
You don't want to pay more that book value for ANY car. Dealers will usually sell from 5% below to 5% above value. Private sellers should offer their cars 10% to 15% below retail. If you don't follow these guidelines, the taxes will put you over value. Try to get financing for a car that isn't worth the money, especially since the value will go down.

2003 CLK500
I'm currently a proud owner of an 08 C230 coupe. Currently looking to purchase a 07' CLK350 Convertible loaded (Zenon's, NAV, Harmon Kardon, etc.) currently has 39,000 mi on it still in warranty from a dealer.... all for the price of $29,000. Any comments? Things I should know?
(Value est. $33,500)
From a Private Party: That's a fair price, if you really like it!
(Avg. est. $29,000, about $4,500 in equity to cover taxes.)

1998 E300 Turbodiesel-drove for ten years/165k miles
Thought I had a good deal, but maybe not so much. Picking up tomorrow.
05 CLK320, 60k mi, all options but navigation. Has A/C seats, HK audio, CD changer, etc. Key is the color combo: White/Tan. One owner lease return. 19K even and a good deal on my trade-in. (I hate the hassle of selling).
I think prices really bottomed out last fall/winter, and are back up to normal now.

Phew...thanks for the word. I hate paying too much.
Hate to see the old turbodiesel go, since it still runs like a top and looks great. I'm just tired of A/C problems.

fada...you sure got a deal with the brand new 09 clk 350 for 36k. You can't beat that considering the car retails at least 54k to 57k. I probably would of jump on that as well but I really love the power of the V8.

I was looking at c350 at first but when I got this deal on CLK it was a no brainer.
It ended up being cheaper that C350, has more options, and overall is a much better car.
C350 with similar options was $46k....
C class is pretty common here, but you don't see many CLKs....
I bet your CLK500 is powerful !!!
How much horse power does it have?

bought my 2006 clk 200 kompressor brand new in 2006, @ MB dealer Jakarta, Indonesia..with ridiculous price tag of 780 mio Rupiah's..that's equal to us$ 78.000-....
Taxes here are unbelieveable..
They only imported 200 kompressor clk's at that time, other than that engine you have to make an order with the dealer, pay huge amount of down payment with non abide prices..wait for at least 3 month..and yuhuu you got yours..
sorry for the poor english..

2006 CLK 500, wife's is a 2014 E3504M
I paid $28,500 for a 2006 CLK 500 with almost 19,500 miles on it.
Most was paid for from some guy's insurance after he rear-ended me. I was stopped and he hit my 99 CLK 430 between 50 and 60 mph (according to the police report).
BTW I wasn't hurt! Sore for a couple of weeks but not hurt.

Also, why did you buy an extended warranty when your car is CPO anyways? When does the CPO warranty expire?
Sounds like they got you, not trying to be a jerk or anything but... time to start cancelling some product.
