Is Bluetooth included in the 2009s arriving now?

I am about to order a 2009 CLK 350 for my wife. According to the dealer they on boats starting to arrive in early August, which is perfect for our needs. After lurking here for awhile and talking to the dealer, I am concerned about the Bluetooth system on these things. Especially with the new hands free law in CA, it is important that my wife be able to easily make calls through the cars BT system with her Verizon LG VX4900 cell phone.

The dealer is claiming that BT is now built into the 2009s and so the expensive dealer installed puck is apparently not necessary. I can't find any evidence of this on the mbusa.com website. I've been shown the dealers Netstar order sheet on the car and it only mentions an item # 387 for Std. Cell Phone Prewiring which sounds just like the 2008 ridiculous system that allows you to spend another couple of grand for BT on a $55K car.

Does anyone know if MB is entering the 21st century on this car yet and including built in BT like every other marque? Wife's 2006 325i included it as standard equipment....and nobody else requires that stupid puck. This system is like sending smoke signals compared to most luxury cars.

If we are stuck with the puck system, will it be compatible enough with my wife's phone (above) to allow her to make and receive calls through the car's system?

Bluetooth pre-wire is a VPC installed option on the '09 CLK's ($875)...we are equipping all of our CLK's with this feature...of course you will still have to buy the bluetooth puck.

Is the BT puck compatible with most phones these days? As I said, I want to make sure my wife can at least make and receive calls through the car's system. The phone books don't matter much to her. her phone is a Verizon LG VX 9400. Thanks!
