Oil changing

Where do people buy the siphoning machine for changing oil through the dipstick method? And how much is it?

I've heard it's not a good idea to use since it leaves crap at the bottom of the oil pan. I don't actually have any experience with one, though.

Might as well drop the oil pan and clean that out too, if you're going to do it yourself. There is no seal to buy, just gasket goo ($3-$4).

Actually does anyone know how to do a normal oil change a CLK 350. For example how to remove the bottom cover?
