paddle shifters? CLK 500
OK so I just picked up a 05 CLK 500 
and I keep reading about the shifter buttons on the steering wheel. I dont seem to have them, What gives
I have the AMG pkg, Nav heated seats Bi Xenon but no shifters... Any retrofit options?

in a word no, its gutting i know, i searched for a while looking for retrofit options but no luck. if anyone disagrees i will be glad to hear it.

'05 SLK350
It was an option for the '05 model as my previous '05 CLK500 had them. For the most part its similar to the buttons mounted to the back of the CLK55 AMG steering wheels, except they were dual throw rocker switches that allowed you to shift up or down from either side. I'm sure it could be retrofitted but like every retrofit for our cars, I'm sure too costly to consider.

05 CLK 500 has steering wheel shifters as standard equipment with leather steering wheel only. If you car has wood wheel you won't get shifters. As far as retrofitting you might want to check with your dealer but probably not worth it.
