Wheel..Brabus..
I got 18 x 8.5 front and 18 x 9.5 rear..BRABUS MB VI..
Today..
I tried to put rear wheels on my car, but 9.5 is so wide that i
couldn't set up wheels..
Do i need to buy spacer??
I am also thinking about switching rear wheels to 8.5 wide..
Which one is better between getting rear spacers and switching
to 8.5..
i am stuck on changing wheels..
please guys answer for me..

id say if a spacer is the answer, do that, its not the width its the offset thats the problem, because 9.5 will fit in the rear. You will like a staggered setup with wide rims in the back much better, or i do at least...

I also have Brabus VI, same size.
The wheels offsets are 35mm, front and rear. I wanted the rear to stick slightly further out, so a got 5mm brabus spacers for the rear. The Brabus spacers are specially made for their wheels. It has a ring going back into the wheel for a snug and centric fit. It's like becoming a part of the wheel, and is screwed onto it. With the spacer, there is absolutely no issue with the fit for the rear. You probably can go 10mm, but i plan to lower my car later, and if so, I think it might rub if you go 10mm.
Good luck

hey!! mbcoupe forever!! I see your car on website!!
your car is the same perfectly as mine!! black & stone
awesome!!
do you order 18 x 9.5 wheels with 35mm offset??
i ordered 18 x 9.5 35mm offset , but that does not fit,
i cant put my wheels on car.. thats so wide..
i should contact with wheelexperts again.
Is 9.5 rear wheels supposed to fit without spacers???, if so,
they sent me wrong wheel..:'(
What is the true??
do i need just 5 mm spacer for rear wheels?
i thought i'm gonna order 5mm for front and 15mm for rear..
many people say those are standard..
hmmm i am confused now :'(
if i add 5mm spacer is there gonna be any rubs on rear tires?
and, do i need to get new bolt with spacers?
what size!! plz help!!

Thanks for the comments on my car.
Here is what i ordered from the dealer carrying BRabus wheels.
Front: 18x8.5, 35mm offset
Rear: 18x9.5, 30mm offset
I had called Brabus directly prior to ordering, and i knew the rear would be 35mm with a 5mm spacer to get to the 30mm offset. Brabus calls it an "adapter", as its a spacer specially made for their wheels, and is screwed onto the wheel it self and has kind of a centering ring into a machined grove on the wheel. Seems like a much better fit than an ordinary spacer.
The spacers came in a bag complete with wheel bolts. You should get around 7 turns on the bolts when you mount them. If less, i guess the wheel might come off. If considerably more, you run the risk that the top of the bolts will damage your parking break.
I'm a car novice, so take above with a grain of salt, but i did do my home work by studying forums like this before ordering.
Where do the rear wheels rub. On the inside or outside of the wheel ??
I actually have a much snugger fit at the front (8.5) than the 9.5 for the rear.

Brabus forgot to send the rear spacer for the wheel...it was ordered, but left out of the box.
according to Han, the wheel at 35 offset touches the suspension. However, even at 35, it should fit.
