2003 CLK 320
Got The Car !!!
I PICKED UP MY 2003 CLK 320 BLACK OPAL ASH INTERIOR ABOUT ONE MONTH AGO. ITS A GREAT CAR I REALLY LIKE THE COLOR OF IT. THE INTERIOR IS PLEASING TO EYE BUT I WILL HAVE TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL TO KEEP IT LOOKING THAT WAYSINCE THE ASH IS SO LIGHT. I HAVE PUT ONE THOUSAND MILES ON THE CAR AND SO FAR IT IS WHAT I EXPECTED. I HAVE HAD TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE THEY REPLACED THE BLADES ON THE WIPERS THEY WHERE NOISEY AND THEY MISSED SPOTS ON THE WINDSHIELD. WHILE I WAS TRAVELING I GOT A SMALL CHIP ON THE FRONT OF THE HOOD AND THAT WAS WITH A INVISIBLE BRA THE CHIP WAS ON PART OF THE HOOD THAT WAS NOT COVERED BY THE BRA. THE DEALERSHIP TOUCH-UP THE CHIP FOR ME AND IT LOOKS AS GOOD AS NEW. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE AND VERY HAPPY TO DEAL WITH THE SALEPERSON WHO SOLD ME THE CAR. I THINK AND HOPE THE SERVICE FOR THE CAR WILL BE AS EXCELLENT AS THE CAR HAS BEEN SO FAR.
THE WEATHER HERE IN WISCONSIN HAS BEEN VERY CLOUDY AS SOON AS WE GET A NICE DAY TO TAKE PICTURES I WILL TRY TO PUT SOME PICS OF THE CAR ON THE SITE. A VERY HAPPY 2003 CLK 320 OWNER !!!!
I AM THINKING ABOUT GETTING THE MERCEDES EXTENDED WARRANTY I HAVE A YEAR TO DECIDE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT IT?

The warranty question is one that has hit this board a bunch of times and here is what I have come up with...my car is a 99 CLK430 approaching the end of its warranty life, and I have opted not to buy an extended warranty for a couple of reasons: I don't know how long I intend to keep the car, probably another 2-2.5 yrs which will probably put me around 75-80K, I don't (hope) that I will encounter any major problems between now and then. Secondly, the extended warranty will be quite expensive and you have to pay cash for it...why not take that same amount of money and invest it somewhere you can get a decent return and if you have to use it, then pull it out and pay to fix the car....my $.02...good luck!

I have been on this forum for about six months and been typing in caps all this time.

not that i am trying to be picky on you. but it is rather uncomfortable for us reading your message.
it's not unreadable, but it take some extra effort to adjust from the rest of the message.

It was pointed out by someone else but they where not as nice. I Did not realize that it was shouting if you typed in caps. Thank You for the information. Do you have any information on the mercedes extened limited warranty? Do you have a 2003 clk 320?
