**UPDATE** I received step by step instructions on how to install this with the original wiring loom - If you have the same unit going into the same car I can help you. 
I purchased a Comand 2.0 unit (A203 827 37 42) to replace the stock radio (A203 820 25 86) model CM1330. One of the square wiring plugs used with the old radio does not fit the new comand unit.
The system lights up, etc, but there is no sound at all, I am assuming the unplugged block is the problem.
Has anyone else put in a Comand unit in their W209 who can advise me on what needs to be done, what adapter, etc...

Wal when you said C1 - C2 connector what are you talking about..because I'm currently trying to replace my COMMAND HU with Alpine ...I'm getting power and the steering wheel control but no sound ..Your assistance appreciated

maestro 89 I have the same problem with the exception I'm putting an aftermarket HU rather than Command 2.0
