Performance chip recommendations

Hello,

This is next on my list, has anyone done the speedtuningusa.com chip upgrade recently with good results?

Anything recommendations besides evosport and Kleeman?

Thx,

Mike

not huge. i did it mostly so i can get rid of the speed limiter at 135. but there is some HP and TQ gains there. and i did notice better throttle response. definitely worth the $350.

I ordered the speedtuningusa chip today, I'll be sending the ECU in on Friday or Monday. Also will be ordering VRP short tube headers next week and an underdrive pulley. Should be some good gains I hope

It's in the driver side engine compartment, lift the hood all the way to vertical position, this will make it easier. There are some clips located on the black box. Just make sure the ignition is off when you remove the 5 connectors, start with 1 and 5, then do 2, 3 and 4.

ECU installed and back in by Wednesday from Speedtuningusa, it's not like the car is supercharged but holy sh*tballs I'm mclovin it. Took off esp and threw it in 1st and did some work on my street. Totally worth the money and Oliver is AWESOME. And no I have no affiliation with them, they did not pay me off or give me any kind of deal just great service and a great product. I'm stoked.

I've seen it more on low end, with esp off it's hard to keep it straight. I haven't taken it up to the 135 mark yet because it's sketchy here with CHP, but when my buddy is with me we will test it out, he has the brass pass.

Process - ignition on start wipers then stop when they are vertical (middle of the window) trust me on this it makes removal so much easier. Turn ignition off pull the key to be safe. Open hood, driver side near windshield and close to fender there is a black cover, remove that then open the box. Remove the clips 1 & 5 first. They can only go back in one way so you don't really need to mark them. Pull the ecu out send it in to Oliver, he does the magic and returns it. Installation is reverse of removal. No error codes, everything went smooth. $299 please the return shipping from Speedtuningusa. So all was said and done at $325 I threw $25 for return shipping. I'm amped on it, I would do it again and recommend them.
