I had the same thing happen to me earlier this year. I was out with some friends getting some lunch when I walked back to my car to find the turn signals missing. I purchased the replacement signals for about $35 each, however on inspection the mounting tabs in the mirror housings were snapped off. In the end it was a $700 insurance claim to replace/the housings, getting the new ones painted and to install yet another set of turn signals.
Best of luck to you on this, I hope its just the signals that need replacing and not the housings also.
