aftermarket HID kit bulb adapter?
Hey guys,
I bought an aftermarket 6000K HID kit for my 09 clk 350 and amazingly they worked without setting off any bulb blown lights on the dash, but my quesiton is i can't get the bulbs to stay in the headlight housing. I contacted the seller on ebay and he told me i have to purchase some sort of bulb adapter to hold the bulb in place. Have any of u guys who installed aftermarket HID kits run into this problem? Or is there another kit i can buy that the bulbs will fit right into my headlight housing?
thanks
JY

yeah he did send me the h7 kit, the box even says H7...but with my lights the original holder needs to be in place to twist the bulb in place...is that what its like with your clk?
no, you should have two springs on the side where the bulb goes in, those are suppose to hold the bulb. If you dont have the springs then you just gotta twist the bulb to fasten it.
I dont have this system as i have factory bi-xenons. I had H7 thing in my older clk.
