OEM Xenon Install Question

Just wondering once I get them installed, will they "turn" when I turn my steering wheel like the factory optioned ones? Also, I've heard I need my car version coded at the dealership? Seems the install is plug 'n play.

In my case, dealership didn't have any idea how the xenon lamp can be installed on my car that has halogen lamp. Which means they have no idea how to change the setting so go find some independent shop to do it. Any shop has SDS can do it.
