clk 500 what viscosity?
what viscosity oil does a clk 500 use? i thought it was 0w40 but my mercedes tech put 10w40

dont know about your but I used 0W40 for my car and I had a friend who has a CLK 500 too he told me he used 0W40 too.

mobil 1 - 0w40..here....aslong as the oil is registered mb229.5 or some**** it will work fine...im to lazy to go the garage and have a look.

nevermind, it was 5w40 mobile 1 full synthetic, i guess thats what they run down here in the south where its hot.

2006 Mercedes CLK500 Cabriolet
How many miles do you guys run on each oil change???
i go to the dealer, and they make me do it every 6,500 miles. but i always heard it to be 12,000miles so what is everybody's take on this?
