XENON HEADLIGHTS FOR 2003 CLK 500

Hi

I have a 52 Reg CLK 500 with normal headlights ime looking to upgrade to xenon headlights as i have just purchased them
The problem ime having is that on my standard lights i have 1 plug and on the xenon's headlight's there is 3 plugs !!!!!
How can i get this to work with my 1 loom ??? or will i need to purchase more leads ? thanks for you help .

Did you purchase the correct part number for the xenon headlight assemblies? The MY 2003-05 have different part numbers than the MY +06.

Hi i have purchased the complete head units off ebay not they was from an 2004 clk so the man told me !! but the plugs do not fit i have one plug and the new lights have 3 plugs !

Bi xenons have the auto level system. Halogen headlights don't. That's why the bix come with more plugs.

No need to connect these extra plugs. You can simply swap the headlights, AND DO MAKE SURE to get your car programmed with stardiagnose (xenons must be set to present). Without this programming the bi xenons will only flicker when the engine is running, which can seriously harm the headlights.

Big sis Thanks for the help so i will not need to do no extra wiring then or need no for extra leads ?

So Its a case of just getting my car programmed to recognise that i have xenon's would this have to be done at a local dealer or could a handy man do this .
will it stop warning lights on the dash comeing on ? , and one last thing with the auto level system will it not matter that nothing is connected , thanks again for your time and help .
