Adding heated seats option

Hey guys...has anybody ever added the heated seats option themselves? I want to know what is required to do that, do you have the chaange the whole seats? Or is just a module that heats the seats? Any help is appreciated...thanks

i would think the whole seat needs to be replaced bc mine are ventilated with holes in them

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)
all CLK seats that are pleather or leather come preforated...

You can buy the heating elements and install them, but they become very costly....i'll try and dig up the site that sells the aftermarket elements.

OEM pricing will kill you for the parts and so is the install by the uholspher.

hey thanks for searching but i want to do the factory stuff, not aftermarket. Maybe if someone is parting out a car with heated seats option? Oh and yeah omar, all clk seats come with holes in them, heated option or not.

...the heating elements are sewn into the leather so if you want to add heating to the seats in an original way, you need to swap out all 4 covers, the switchrow and add a wiring harness...we actually have 1 set of new heated leather covers in stock in charcoal...
