good looking car. i actually like the vinyl black roof. you will not get into the 12's at all without turbo charging or supercharging.

well i guess i'll just have to set that goal for myself then. haha. thanks for the compliments. im gonna go to the drawing board tonight and start looking into my brain for some more ideas. there's no reason i cant get into the 12s without boost. it'll happen. might just take some serious strategizing but it'll happen.

If it can be done that easy then Mercedes wouldn't have to stroked their engine from 5.0 to 5.4 NA on AMG cars, would it? The 5.4 NA AMG car can only best 13.5s 1/4 miles and the stock AMG SC cars can only best 12.5s 1/4 miles. I don't know how long you been around Mercedes aftermarket tuner but the best of them out there like Renntech, Brabus, Powerchip, Kleemann...etc ECU tuning gain about 15 to 20 "flywheel" hp (that's about 10-15 "rwhp"). I'm not trying to pick a fight but your statement are just un-realistic !!

i am not picking on you either but our cars are just too heavy to run those kinds of numbers in the quarter. take a look at the power to weight ratio for cars that run 12's in the quarter and compare it to the CLK. my 55 wont run 12's.

its all good. we'll see whats up around summertime, lol. im not planning on using renntech and kleeman. ive got other people who work on my cars with me who know how to make a car run fast. i think i can get it to 12.999 without boost. thats just me though.

Even though I'm being negative but believe me, I sure hope you can do it so we all can enjoy the mods too.

I highly recommend the CLK BS carbon fiber spoiler to match your front carbon fiber. I just got my BS carbon fiber spoiler but didn't want to install it yet until I get my new custom paint wheel and tires next week. Can't wait.

hrmmm. i was going to do the top half of the spoiler vinyl'ed black to match the roof. but havent decided yet. i was also going to rock a CF roof spoiler but the ones ive seen for sale look kinda tacky and dont really work well in my opinion. might just mock one up and have someone mold it out for me.

It not complete until you do the carbon fiber diffuser mods. I'm putting a group buy of 5 people for $350 ea.

Nice. All you need is a carbon fiber diffuser. Join the group buy. You know you want to.
