I think the chrome trim looks good with the chrome rims. If I was gonna black out my car, I would get black or gun metal rims.

Thanks smash

Andy, there is no muffer on my car. What i basically did was, i went to the exhaust shop, told them i want to run two straight pipes after/from the resonator one going to the left and one going to the right and take out the muffler completely. So they did it and i supplied the tips and thats it. Check my thread you will see the pics that i posted...

People!! Stop wasting MONEY!!!!!!
Next time go to autozone, get your self a random orbital buffer. Claybar, car soap, a good rubbing compund 3m has good stuff, a good carnauba(sp) based wax (meguiars has good stuff) Microfiber rags. Chrome wheel cleaner.

Wash car thourghly with car soap
Clay bar car thourghly
Wash car again
Rince
Wipe down car
Cover all shiny bits moldings etc a delicate masking tape
park in garage or under a shade
apply rubbing compound and buff (takes a good hrs)
take rag (dry) wipe the dryed compund off
slap on a new bonnet for you buffer repeat process off buffing but with wax

total spent on materials 100 satisfaction priceless
next few washes all you pay for is water

besides that it looks sick!!

i understand what you are saying dude but i had to get rid of the swirl marks and i couldnt do that myself. I do wax my car myself from time to time and after this detail i am going to do everything myself.

Question for everyone, what exactly the clay bar does? Where can we pick it up? Whats it called just clay thats it?

ZEEK....Meguiars and Mothers both make a good clay bar kit.... spring for that its only like 15 - 20 bux depending on where u get it.... if u get just the clay bar dont forget to pick up some decent spray detail wax and use plenty of it... what it does is clean off ur paint of stuck on debris we run into everyday (road grimme, stuck on bird ****, tree sap) it really does help clean up ur paint.... u def did the rite thing detailing ur car as its black (like mine) clay bar wont do anything for swirl marks
