KPS sensor swap (crankshaft positioner sensor) problem
Anyways i ran into this problem today...the beeeitch stalled on me at the office..she'd crank over but didn't fire. Engine temp was +80*
just want to say that it was a hell of a job to replace the sensor even though it is in plain sight...130 dollar sensor.
my arms are all scratched and shredded, and 2hrs later with many swear words, i got it out and the new one in...
will post DIY tutorial with pictures sometime this week..
no more hot startup stalls....yay.
btw, replacing lowerball joints and thrust arm bushings are a crappy job to DIY too...
the wrath of old mb vehicle problems are starting to settle in...and my DIY skills are beginning to improve within the level of MB....and i must say, MB puts some parts in the most ****ed positions.
