Flame, since you have the 05 CLk 500 with the 6 piston front calipers - I'm wondering if you could do me a favor. When it's convenient, can you take a look at your spare tire and let me know what the part # is? I can't use my 03CLK500 spare anymore and have been trying to find a replacement. Thanks!

Hope you can help!

As long as your spare clears the rear brakes, that's pretty much all you need. If you get a flat in the front, just swap it with the rear wheel, put the spare in the rear, turn ESP off and drive to the nearest tire shop.

That's a good @ss idea - I never thought of that. The only thing is, I'm less worried about a flat becasue of tire damage (I can just throw a compressor and fix-a-flat in the trunk), and more worried about bustin up the rims and having to wait a couple of weeks for a new rim. So I would prefer to have a spare that I can drive on, slowly for about a week or so.

That's exactly what people do when it comes to flats and they've got upgraded brakes. But you seem so worried about your rims then you might as well buy an extra set of wheels and tires in case you get a flat
Which brings me to my next point. You should just my stock AMG wheels+tires for spare

That's cuz I've busted up 3 19" Brabus rims in a span of 2 years for a cost of $3600. Left me traumitized. It's probbaly not a big deal, I bet my cheaper new 19's are stronger. I do have a backup set - my 18" Brabus wheels although I'm might be trying to get rid of them also. I think I may throw a compressor/fix a flat, and my stock spare back in my trunk and call it a day.

Speaking of which it's kind of funny - one of the reasons I went back to 19's was to upsize my front brakes, but it turns out my 18" Brabus wheels clears the 6 pot calipers. I culd use the front rim as a spare, but I don't want to lug it around all the time in the trunk.

But my car has the sport package. The caliper is not single floating.
Does anyone know where I can find the correct size of my rotors.

All you have to do is find an Clk 63 on Ebay and get the VIN# fromt it. Then call the dealer.
