Whats with the struts?
well i wana know if someone can tell me how can i over come and win the war on my struts because there in my damn way and preventing me from getting bigger tires..in details...i have a W209.. 03 clk 320 and i have 20 inch rims with 225/30 R20 XL 85w hankook tires in the fronts and back...yeh grandpa driving like a turtle but i love it (ever heard the story bout the bulls ontop of the mountain looking down on the cows? lol) well anyways now i brought some new rims and i wanted to get a little more meat on my tires so i went with a 225/35 R20 xl 85w TOYO tires all around...so with that, the back were great fit well i loved it and when it came to the fronts Oh NOOO there were rubbing the damn struts my first thought were to sand the struts and chip away with chisel whatever i couldnt sand off because it wasnt really bad but i didnt know how much pressure was sitting on the tires and didnt know how much to chisel off the strut so i just had the shop put my old 225/30's on the front till i find out what can i possibly do? and i also want to slam it wwe style so if anyone can let me know what to get beacuse i would love to keep the 225/35's in the front ...

they fit actually well i think that a myth i mean i have no problems with them at all the ride is still the same and 20's do fit i just want to be the odd ball thats all it realy looks good also but if i can only get what ever it is i need to change the strut ill do it i mean you see them cars out there with lift kits now is that what ill have to do ? i dont know i need a kit that will eliminate my strut problem...thats all

yeah thats my next move is to lower my ride im going with the eibach pro lowering kit wit damper and da whole shabang,,,, plus i want them bright *** pure white lights like i dont know if my 03 clk 320 comes equipped with HID i mean i know the fog lights are not lookin like crap at night i need a hid kit for fog lights for sure and as far as the low beams maybe different bulbs? i want to be schooled on these things by you the reader if you have any recommendations it would sure help me out cuz i dont know jack..lol..but i can tell you this my 03 dont look like an 03 any more so if you can tell me how to post my pics i will more than honored to show you...thanks..

for the HIDs, go to ebay, good w209 HID. get the ones that dont get the error code. i think its the ones made in Japan.
the bulbs should be H7
iono about the fogs.....9006?
i have an 03 benz too. first thing i did was HID. lol.
I think the next will be springs and subs. but yeah i wanna see them 20s.

i hope somebody can tell me how to post my pics......lol im still waiting for instructions...every time i try it tell me to put a url ..dont know what the heck there talking about.......but yeh so did you get hid for your low and high beams? are they hids already and it just require the bulb? and as far as foglights is there a hid kit for the fog's? or can i just get bulbs for that also ....who did you buy it from so i can look up his store on ebay...and just like you im in da process of lowering my car but i got alot of fradey cats all scared to work on a MERCEDES BENZ like pep boys, car x, goodyear, firestone, tire barn like these franchise places be bull****tin talkn bout liability so i gota a find a backally mechanic or tech or a custom shop who only does (body work) so im on a hunt and a mission...

lol thanks yeh but its who i am and my car represents that .you know like i guess you custom your car the way you are and your personality like if all our cars would be the same then we all wouldnt be unique individuals like if somebody wants to put a fast and the furioius wing on the back of there CLK then i think thats garbage but see thats not for me we all have Mercedes canvaes and what art we want to put on our cars its up to the owner and his imaginary ....theres unlimited things we can do with our cars,,,,while im whippin wood grain and my 20 inch wheels will be rollin under the city lights slowmotion style with da baddest broad on my passenger side and her fine freinds lol.....ill be posting new pics when i slam my ride dont know rather to go with eibach or h&r or coilovers all that **** is confusing to me lol so any recommendations would gladly be appreciated///

just get some spacers for the front. Call H&R and they will tell you what you need. i bet you could get away with using a 5-7mm spacer. you will need to buy some longer bolts as well but that is not a big deal either. send me a pm and i will give you a resourse for that as well.
your wheels are definitely unique. we all have our own ideas when it comes to what looks good. i tend to lean more towards eurosport myself. the only thing that is chrome on my car is the trim and wheel lips.
