Can you make CLK500 seats less stiff ??
I got a question for everybody -
I've had my CLK500 for about 5 months now, and am still nothing short of in love with it. I've got very few complaints, and they're all small things that don't really matter when you step back for a sec and are just thankful you're fortunate enough to own such an incredible car.
I probably should know this by now, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Is it possible to make the seats (driver and passenger) more or less stiff/firm? Like obviously you can move the bottom and top parts of the seats forward and backward to accomidate your personal driving comfort style.. but I haven't been able to figure out how to adjust the firmness of the seats. I'm assuming you aren't able to, but if somebody could give me an official word on the matter, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

I don't think there is any practically any way to change the stiffeness of the seats, except to have an upholstery shop change out the foam.
Mercedes seats are traditionally pretty firm - they belive it is better for you, ergonomically.

I'm not really talking about the leather, although yeah, Lexus has much softer leather seats.. I mean in some of the other cars my family has, you can electronically adjust the firmness of the seats. I guess that's not a MB thing?

The only other thing to do would be to buy seat covers like those made with sheepskin or lambswool.
They are very soft and are available in many different colors to match your interior.
