steering wheel and easy entry problem

(it's stuck in the bottom position) and does not
go up to exit the car
The steering wheel moves forward and back but not up and down...
dammit
I hear the motor trying to adjust but no movement
Soo I turned off the easy entry option soo the motor don't burn out
What up with it????

every thing else works fine.
I have disable the easy entry fonction to not burn the motor of the
steering wheel adjustment.
Or, if it sounds like it's free-wheeling, maybe the motor became disconnected somehow?

I have the same issue. I checked the cables under my seat and all fastners are secure. My problem is that I cant turn the cluster option on. Its stuck in the off position. The +/- steering wheel buttons do not toggle from off to on.

My steering wheel only goes in and out. The only way to move the seat is with the door panel controls

$11 part and $450 in labor. Thank goodness for the warranty. My coupler in the steering column motor area snapped.

I have pmed you too.
look at this https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-ele...e-up-down.html
There are 4 bolts, two on each side of the steering wheel attached to a metal plate that you get to from the bottom. Then there is a large bolt that you remove from the side of the steering column. Once you do that the steering wheel should fall down. and you will have access to the part.

on your W209, it's only 4 bolts (blue cercle) and 1 long bolt ( green cercle) ?
