Finally fitted my 19's
Had these on my 210 for a couple of years, just love the simple but "strong" looking wheels.

I'm running 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 and it handles fairly nicely...for a diesel!

Looks good!
I think you should buy my spoiler to finish it off. Check it out:

Would cost way too much to ship it over to me. I've got an AMG front bumper and one side skirt, trying to collect the rear bumper and the other skirt but UK E bay isn't so good for amg bits!

I thought that 265 was the most we can put in the rear...?
does the 275 rub? I guess your on stock suspension

The colour is very common here, but still not as common as silver or black!
The 275's don't rub, not by a long way, there is loads of clearance on the inside and outside, i could probably go to a 285 tyre with no problems.
If i had rear wheels with an offset of ET30 then i might run into problems...
Yep, stock avantgarde suspension for now, the previous owner fitted brand new springs all round the week before i got it. Although our euro cars seem to ride lower than your US ones as stock anyway.

i'm just looking to buy them wheels but they r 245/40/18's all round. do you think it will be ok running the 245 on the front?
what is the correct offset i should be looking for when buying alloys for my 2005 clk 270cdi?
Thanks

245's might fit, depending on your offset, width and ride height. It may make your steering heavy and "tram-liney" 235 are just on the edge of doing that, it's probably for a very good reason that AMG only fit 225 tyres on the front of the CLK.
Offset is always dependant on wheel width. ET35 is a pretty safe bet for a lot of MB, but if the wheels aren't that wide you might want ET30 or even 25 to bring the wheels out to the arches nicely.
