Fuel Filler Flap Question

Fuel Filler Flap Question
Hi, newbie here.
Just bought a 2006 350 coupe and trailered it home today. The fuel flap does not release electronically when the car is unlocked either with keyless go or smart key. The rest of the locks work fine.
The owner's manual for the car was printed in 2005 and references the 320 not the 350. It shows a manual release behind the right covering in the trunk and a key like thing to rotate to release the flap lock. My car does not look similar to the manual at least from what I can see with flashlight and mirrors.
How to fix? Bummer, I can't drive it and have less than 1/4 tank now.
The former owner left a bunch of fuses in the tray over the spare tire. Is there a separate fuse for that lock?
Thanks for help. Hope this car pans out...

Not too sure here...
My WIS for the CLK 350 coupe shows a motorised fuel filler flap. Do you have an interior switch to operate this? You have to remove the right side panelling in the trunk to examine the motor, etc.
On my 2004 CLK 240 for this flap I only have an interlock that is released by the ignition key, but is otherwise manually opened/closed. You must have a fuse for that motor somewhere.
My best guess for a fuse is f15 @ 7.5A for 'fuel filler cap relay'. Located in the rear fusebox (f1 -f20). Find it behind a removable panel in the LH side in the trunk.
You have 3 fuse boxes. LH engine bay (f43 - f65), interior (f21 - f42), and LH rear (f1 - f20). Inside one of them is kept a fuse map describing the layout.

Update
Thanks for info.
I found the fuse and it was blown. Replaced it and it promptly blew again. I removed the right side interior liner in the trunk and found the motor that pulls the pin which unlocks the fuel door. I loosened the 2 torx screws holding it in and pulled the motor assy back allowing the pin to retract from the fuel flap. So for now my fuel flap is always unlocked and opens and closes by hand from outside, which is ok for now. I will have to figure out why the fuse is blowing later when I get time.
Thanks for your guidance
