Question on 550's

Hello I am new to the board but have wanted a Mercedes for a long time.

I am finally in a position to buy my first one - and I want a CLK 550.

My question is, is there a big difference from 07 to 09? wut options or upgrades have been made that would affect it's price? or should I save the money and buy the 07...oh and cost of repairs/warranty coverage isn't a real problem because my dad owns a garage that specializes in mercedes and lexus so I'm pretty set there.
I also assume for the price a clk 550 is better than the previous clk 55 amg from the earlier years before they changed to a 63 amg

I'm open to suggestions..any input is helpful.

i would love a convertible if it came in hard top...but im probably stick with the coupe.

thanks

cause he wouldn't know all the options, bells and whistles that the clk added on over the years.
maybe someone on this board could shed some light on the matter...

anyone have an 08 or 09 likes it better than an 07? if so, how?

I wouldn't know all the possible "extras" MB would have included in the base price for the 07-09 models. I am pretty sure there were no technical changes made; nor were there any new options made available. The 18" inch wheels became part of the package for 08. I would just use Edmunds to price the options and use that as the basis of my negotiations.

doesnt the '07-'09 550 outperform the '06 55 AMG?? ((i dont want a 63)) and i understand some physical mods like interior enhancements are added as of '07..

i mean you look like a badass for an AMG sticker on the truck of your car but i care more for better performance than an emblem
