I went to the dealership today and asked them how much a brand new pair of taillights cost. $260 for each light. The guy also told me i would have to find the VIN# for the new lights in order to find the correct light. All the lights are different? I have an 03 clk500. Does anyone have the VIN# for the new lights?

 

Depends which ones you want. There are Avantgarde (smoked) and Regular (clear/white) style tail lights. Grab a VIN # off of autotrader of the style you prefer and use them at the dealership.

Yeah they will work. I was skeptical at first, but others have done the conversion.

Yea man I want to soon, I have money put aside for the starless grill group buy but since that's not till November I might use for the lights.
