Driver Side Bi-Xenon Tabs
Anyone know where I might be able to get parts for a driver side Bi-Xenon? I bought a set for pretty cheap, but it came at the cost of two broken tabs on the driver side.
Any ideas on how I might be able to get some tabs for it so I can get them repaired?

Jon, likewise, it was nice meeting you.
I was thinking the same thing as you. I was going to have the guy who I bought the lights off of, repair them as well. I ended up buying a spare halogen under that assumption and sent it over. Apparently the tabs are in different places or won't work properly. Supposedly I read somewhere that MB has a headlight repair kit or something. I'm going to try and give them a call.
It still kinda looks like you can just cut pieces off the halogen and bondo or superglue or something to the xenon housing. I really don't know.

I called the dealership today and they were no help. I tried to explain that I was just looking for a headlight tab repair kit, but then he asked for my VIN. I, then explained what I wanted to do and their response was "Mercedes is not in the business of modifying their cars" before rushing me off the phone. The dude was such an *******.
Advans, might you have a part number of some sort that can help me out... Or better yet, I send you the headlights, modify and fix them, and I pay you

pat, PM replied...
so here's the deal, there ARE CLK headlight tab repair kits.
(Collision Catalog - 2007 - Mercedes-Benz - CLK Class
Front lamps, Headlamp components, Repair kit, Repair kit Right+Left) $34.50 each side, MSRP
I can't get the part number, but just give that to the dealer's parts department, they'll find it.

Hey Pat, I'm in the process of upgrading my Halogens to OEM projector lenses, except I only bought the driver side and looking for the passenger side to make the pair. LOL
Anyway, one of my friends told me that I need to go to the dealer and change my light mode from halogen to xenon mode or the computer will show the malfunction error. You heard anything like that before? or have you tried the lights on your car already? or anyone else know?
Well, if you or others know, please educate me.
Oh P.S. if anyone knows someone selling their oem xenons, holla at me.

Anyway, with Gary's installation of the D2S kit, I shouldn't have to see the dealer. Thank God!
