hi im new here....go easy on me lol
i'd like to change the speakers on my clk. How do i get access to the speakers which are in my doors and is there any web sites you can recommend.
I have a comand unit running on stock six speakers. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Check the W203 DIY stickys for information and pics of removing the door trim. I don't recommend changing out just the speakers because, they need to have the same impendence as the speakers your are replacing, 2ohm I believe. If they are not 2ohm, then you will have weird radio problems, like the radio suddenly raising and dropping the volume (due to the integrated microphone).

i have the non-base comand on my australian w209
i have changed my 2 door speakers to a 6.5" alpine type S speaker, the change in sound quality was very noticeable...
but its easier for me as the stock speakers in my car were 4ohm as its the non-bose system
all i need is to work out how to get to the sub and i think i'll change that too
