Found the replacement for third brake light

Guys,

just came across this and wonder is it reasonable price ? Actually, I do have the extended warranty but then I have to pay like $100 deductible so should I just take the car to the dealer or use my own money to replace...they only $50 different. What do you guys think ?

Part# : 209 820 10 56
Third Stop Light
CLK500 9.375- 9.375

GENUINE MERCEDES
$152.99 Buy(In Stock?:YES)

Edit: Does anyone know the warranty cover the hood insulation too ? Any of you guys replaced that before with your extended warranty ?

Andy

Is your warranty from a 3rd party or from Mercedes? I have extended warranty for my car and the 3rd brake was replaced twice with no cost. My hood badge was replaced labor free minus the $20 for the badge.

When I bought the car, I noticed the insulation was messed up, and they fixed it for me (didn't replace though)
I'm not sure if your warranty covers that man, since you gonna go in for your brake lights just ask them to replace it too. Do it smoothly, you may get lucky. haha
Good luck bro

My bad, must have misread it. Talk to your SA and see if they will fix it for you.

No i know I can do that for sure but since I have the warranty why not let them do it right ? but the question is it worth it ? like i said I have to pay $100 deductible and they'll take care the rest which is only $50 + tax that how it is. Well this is what im thinking right now get them fix that third brake light and I will try to talk to them to get the insulation change too...I just happened know one guy in there so we'll see how it goes.
