E55 AMG muffler on W209

Does anyone know if I could just do a direct swap on the muffler without any problems?

I doubt it since the shape of the muffler and position of the hanger might be different.

Not even the factory Clk 55 quad exhaust would fit let alone any other models quad exhaust. The problems is the spare tire tube offset to one side of the car and that's why you can't put a muffler there. To fix the problems, buy the factory clk 55/c55 quad exhaust system spare tire tube.
