CLK 500
2003 CLK500 air filter replacement?
Trying to replace air filters on CLK 500. New owner. How do I remove air filter housing/cover to access filters?

ontop of your engine you have the air box.pull out the two intake tubes that run to that. then grab the whole air box and pull on it hard.it will come off its rubber mounts. flip it upside down and you will find a bunch of torx head screws. take those off and remove the covers and the filters are in there. order K&N filters and clean them often. they get dirty fast.

The engine cover is in 2 part the front you slide out towrs you then you can left up the other half upward.

Open up youtube and search for w203 or w209 air filter replace. clk 320,350,500,550,55,63 they all have the same air filter system (built into the engine cover.)

+1.

Very easy to change. Just lift up the air box (engine cover) and the air filters are inside.
After the change, don't forget to reconnect the 2 intake tubes.
