I currently have 15mm spacers on my car.
I used spacers because they are not staggered wheels.
I have a new set of staggered wheels to go on the car.
I may even see if I have room to use the spacers WITH the new, wider wheels.
The wheels I have on at the moment, are 8.5 inches wide (front and rear).
The offsets on them are 35 (front and back).
I have 245/35/19 tyres on the rear wheels.
I reckon I have alittle room to go wider.
I used to have 20mm spacers on my 208 (with the same wheels).
You need to check the offsets of the wheels you will be using.
Also, check if the rear wheels are wider than the fronts (i.e, stagggered), as this will also effect the size of the spacer you can use.
The tyre shoulder also plays a part too.
Too much of a shoulder on the tyre can obviously cause rubbing.
It can be a bit of a trial-and-error situation.
I don't think you'll have a problem with 10mm spacers, but you need to bear in mind the above mentioned.

THe picture you posted of your Silver CLK63 is a 18x8.5 +35 offset with 15 spacers? Which would technically bring your wheel to a 18x8.5 +20 correct?
You think i can run +15 spacers if i got a 265 tire in the back or should i go with+12 spacers?

Hi mate.
Yeah, the picture is with 18x8.5 with a 35 offset.
And yeah, effectively giving an offset of 20.
I reckon you probably could get away with 265 tyres on the rears.
Maybe check with some of the other guys.
Interestingly, I've now got 19x9.5" wheels.
I also decided to keep the spacers on too!
Got enough clearance, so you may well not have trouble with 265 tyres.
I was very surprised when I left the spacers on, just to have a look.
If you're unsure, go with 12mm spacers if you can get them.
Newbie
I got a newbie question. If we get the offset correctly for the wheels then why would we need spacers? Or is it because that wheel manufacturers only make wheels of particular offsets?

spacers= more aggressive stance. if you have the room in your fender wells.

Not stock wheels but i run front 10mm ichibahn hub-centric spacers

Az- It almost looks like you got a reverse staggered look... Maybe it's the angle in the pics, but maybe you should put some wider spacers in the rear. And maybe a little drop... kinda looks like you're about to go off roading

So i got 10mm spacer for my car, what length bolts should i use? or the stock ones should do fine ?
Thank you.
Thank you.
