Battery Symbol and "Vist Workshop" Message

Hi,

I have a question and I'm hoping you all can help. So...

I was at the stop light the other day and I noticed that (a.) there was an ever so slight shaking of my car (I've also noticed the slight shaking when driving.) and (b). when I pressed the gas to go, it stalled out a bit - that too was slight but noticeable.

Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the electrical seat adjustment on the driver's side doesn't work all the time (at times I can adjust it and at time it is completely non responsive).

Then last night I got that Red scary battery symbol the "Visit Workshop" message.

All this has happened in the last 2 days.

I checked in the owners manual and I guess it could either be the "poly v belt" or the alternator? Any ideas or insight? How can I tell if it is either? Could it just be the battery? If it's the alternator can the voltage regulator just be replaced? ( thank you google). If possible I want to avoid taking it to the dealership and just wanted all the information I could get before taking it into a shop.

Thanks and sorry for all the questions!
